EXPORT REVIEW

The application continuously reviews the entire shipment database flagging address entries contained within the following lists: Denied Persons Lists, Unverified Entities, Entity Lists, Debarred Lists, Nonproliferation Sanctions, Specially Designed Nationals, other National country lists and User defined lists. Using Fuzzy Logic or Double Metaphone analysis, up to 20 ever-more-stringent Multiple Trade Partner List (MTPL) edit levels provide critical address file editing, multiple order pre- and post-shipment reviews then archive for available reporting

Outbound and inbound shipment programs collect, store and generate information to complete needed export and import documents.

 

SECURITY

Confidentiality and security are maintained across the Import/Export processes. User data is secured through encrypted communications using standard 'push', 'pull' information exchange methods or by exposing common Web services to load data directly.

 

DATABASE RETENTION

A product database maintains necessary information such as: country harmonized tariff numbers and descriptions, European TARIC numbers, product and part numbers, ECCN and license information, serial and Vehicle Identification data, net and gross weights, dimensions, tare, standard packaging details and automatic conversions to country specific requirements. Population of product related data can source from ERP Item Masters or be administered directly through the Compliance application.

 

MULTIPLE ADDRESS SCREENING

Critical to meeting country-specific regulations is reviewing multiple addresses, GTMS Compliance edits over 30 addresss types, such as Shipper, Consignee, Invoice To, Third Party, Forwarder, Broker, Alternate Ship To, Principal Party of Interest, Remit To, Ultimate Destination, Pre-, Main- and Post-carrier. ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION

The Compliance application transmits documents electronically to various government agencies such as AESDirect, ACE, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol as well as other non-USA governements. To meet integrated carrier demands (such as FedEx, UPS, DHL) such transmissions may be a complete or partial format depending on carrier arrangement.

 

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

All GTMS applications utilize Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services to generate all documents. Reporting Services permits customized templates thereby supporting multiple languages and formats by subscription, on demand, or scheduled distribution via secure Web access. Documents available are: Manifest, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Proforma Invoice, Canandian Customs Invoice, Packing List, Shipper's Letter of Instruction and User-defined documents.
